Natascia Roman
Associate Attorney // Amin Talati Wasserman LLP
Please provide a description of your practice.
I review product labels and packaging for compliance and also advise on claim substantiation for websites and other advertising such as social media, print, radio television and internet. I also assist retailers, manufacturers, and distributors of hemp and hemp-based cannabidiol (CBD) products with labeling, advertising, and marketing of these products.
Why are you a member of the WBAI?
I love that there is an organization designed for women in the legal profession to give back to the community, mentor, and help the world both in a legal and non-legal fashion. I would love to join Legally Moms, because as a mom in the legal field, I believe there is a lot of work to be done with legislation surrounding mothers and time off. I love the idea of being able to be a part of that.
What do you think is the best way to empower women in law?
I think giving women ample opportunities to grow professionally and personally is the best way to empower women. I think the Women’s Bar is great because there are so many different ways to network and get involved in the community, which helps women feel confident to make career moves, reach professional goals, and assist in creating personal connections.
What are you most looking forward to in the following year, personally/professionally?
Professionally, I am excited to start becoming more involved in the community and am also excited to start interfacing more with clients. Personally, I am running my first half marathon in a few months!
Tell us something interesting about you.
I took the LSAT while pregnant with my first child and the BAR exam while pregnant with my second child (and did well on both!).
