Attorney // Corboy & Demetrio, P.C.

Why are you a member of the WBAI?

I first joined the WBAI at the urging of Judge Elizabeth Budzinkski to meet others and to get more involved in the legal community.  Then, when I joined Corboy & Demetrio, the late, great Philip H. Corboy urged me to get more involved in the WBAI because he believed it would enrich me professionally and would be good for business.  It was just the nudge I needed to meet talented women who practiced in all areas of the profession.  Women who I could call and ask for advice or refer a case.  When I was President of the WBAI, my theme was “Empowerment through Networking”  because it is by working with all of these great women in different practice areas that we can really empower one another and make a difference.  Today, the WBAI provides me the opportunity to network while balancing the demands of work and family life.

What are you most looking forward to in 2017?

The laughter of my children and the joy they bring me.

Tell us something interesting about you or your practice.

In addition to handling personal injury cases, I am heading up our firm’s recently formed Workers’ Compensation practice.
