// Power Rogers & Smith, LLP

Please provide a description of your practice.

I represent injured people and their families in personal injury and wrongful death actions, including medical malpractice, automobile and transportation negligence, product liability, and premises liability cases.

Why are you a member of the WBAI?

The WBAI has provided me with incredible networking opportunities.  I have met so many people in a short amount of time and have made several life-long friends.  What’s more, I made these connections while serving an organization dedicated to supporting and advancing women lawyers and women’s interests.

What are your tips for work/life balance?

Admittedly, work/life balance is an ongoing challenge for me.  To try and achieve it, I literally calendar social time and down time, or else I will not remember to fit it in!

What are you most looking forward to in 2017?

My husband and I bought a 160-year-old Victorian home about a year and a half ago, and I’m looking forward to continuing our rehab of the interior and exterior of our home.

Tell us something interesting about you.

I’m an avid cook and love trying new recipes and perfecting old ones.  My idea of a perfect weekend involves planning a menu, preparing everything from scratch, and enjoying the finished product with friends and family!
