Please provide a description of your practice.

To help clients maneuver the often difficult path when facing a divorce or separation and in starting the next chapter in their life. My goal with every client is to help them plan for the future, with both legal and nonlegal consequences in mind.

Why are you a member of the WBAI?

The WBAI provides regular social and educational events that allow me to support women’s issues, which are frequently at the forefront of my mind.

What do you think is the best way to empower women in law?

The best way to empower women in law is by making space for diversity and different perspectives at the table. Equal access to leadership roles allows all women to see people like them as inspiration and as role models. When women in leadership support real mentorship opportunities, flexible work arrangements, and amplify other women’s voices, we all succeed.

What are you most looking forward to in the following year, personally/professionally?

Being new on the Cook County Child Rep list and growing my new practice!

Tell us something interesting about you.

I love learning and trying new things. I’m always listening to audiobooks and podcasts, and looking for my next listen. The best book I’ve listened to lately was Tom Lake by Ann Patchett, which is narrated by Meryl Streep.
