Jeanine Stathopoulos
Legal Counsel // ZS Associates, Inc.
Please provide a description of your practice.
I am an in-house attorney at a marketing and sales consulting company. I focus my practice on transactional matters and the firm’s market research practice group.
Why are you a member of the WBAI?
I originally became a member of the WBAI at the encouragement of one of my mentors, Past-President Eugena Whitson-Owen, as a way to get involved with the legal community while I was still in law school. Becoming a member early on in my career allowed me to easily transition from a law student to a practicing attorney. I continued to be a member, then became a Director, then an Officer, on the WBAI Board because of the leadership opportunities presented to me by my involvement. Staying engaged with such a great organization is a way for me to have a career rather than just a job.
What are you most looking forward to this Spring?
I am looking forward to finally hearing my son, George, say “mama” and to seeing him walk. I hope that both of those things happen in the next couple of months.
What is your idea of “having it all”?
A lot of people say that you can have it all but you can’t have it all at once, and I am a firm believer in that. To me, having it all is making sure that in the long run my priorities stay the same even though, from one day to the next, one might get more of my time than another.
