Why are you a member of the WBAI?
Love the camaraderie and supporting women professionally.
What do you think is the best way to empower women in law?
Often family matters fall on women, whether it be kids, organizing celebratory events, or assisting aging or ill relatives. The best way to empower women is to help them obtain the resources they need behind the scenes to take care of family matters expeditiously and with the least amount of stress so that they have more time to excel in their careers- it could be better access to childcare, social workers to help with family illness, or something as simple as a chef who can cost efficiently provide healthy meals to the family.
What are you most looking forward to in the following year, personally/professionally?
Planning and attending my youngest son’s Bar Mitzvah!
Tell us something interesting about you.
I graduated college a semester early so that I could go to Israel for the first time. During my first three weeks, I volunteered on an army base packing medical supplies- I slept on the base, wore combat boots and army fatigue, and enjoyed free public transportation while I was a volunteer soldier!
