3L - UIC Law // Law Clerk at MAMMAS GOLDBERG VANDERPORTEN

Please provide a description of your practice.

I am a 3L at the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law and a first-generation law student! Law school has been a rewarding experience that has allowed me to grow both personally and professionally. I am passionate about pursuing a career in family law because I value the personal connections created and find it incredibly rewarding to help individuals navigate some of life’s most important moments.

Why are you a member of the WBAI?

I am a member of the WBAI because I value the opportunity to connect with other women in law, share experiences and learn from their paths as I begin my career.

What do you think is the best way to empower women in law?

I believe the best way to empower women in law is by supporting each other and creating opportunities for connection and mentorship to help individuals succeed but also to strengthen the legal community as a whole.

What are you most looking forward to in the following year, personally/professionally?

I am excited to be part of the WBAI and to connect with the inspiring women in this community!

Tell us something interesting about you.

I am a law clerk to WBAI Recording Secretary Caidi Vanderporten and her family law firm, MAMMAS GOLDBERG VANDERPORTEN.
