Description of your practice:
Following 30 years of a private practice that included criminal, matrimonial, and sex-discrimination in employment cases, I retired from the law 26 years ago.

Why are you a member of the WBAI?
I joined WBAI in 1963 to meet women lawyers, and developed friendships that included pioneer women lawyers. Helping each other was our common bond.
To prevent membership gaps, following my 1984-5 WBAI Presidency, I became a Life Member

What do you think is the best way to empower women in law?
I think the best way for women lawyers to empower ourselves is by viewing and conducting ourselves as “competent lawyers” and not as “women lawyers.”

What are you most looking forward to in the following year, personally/professionally?
I look forward to continuing being an environmental activist and author (The Midwestern Native Garden and Midwestern Native Shrubs and Trees), amateur naturalist, and being with my husband.
