All steps below must be completed 45 days prior to a Professional Responsibility CLE, or 30 days prior to a General CLE event.

Step 1
Fill out the marketing request form.

Step 2
Email the following CLE materials to wbai.cle@gmail.com. The MCLE Board will deny partial applications.

  1. Course Description
This description should typically be 4-6 sentences and will be posted on the WBAI’s website. The description should include the date, time, location, speakers, and a general description of the purpose of the course. If you are seeking Professional Responsibility credit, you will also need to provide the learning objectives.
  2. Timed Agenda
The MCLE Board requires the following format: “12:00 – 12:10pm – Recap of latest cases.” Agendas that say “10 minutes – Recap of latest cases” will not receive accreditation. Please note that introductions and break times do not count towards CLE credit hours. For example, if introductions take 5 minutes of a 1-hour CLE program, the CLE program must be a total of 1 hour and 5 minutes.
  3. Written Materials
The written materials should reflect the course content and be made available to the participants before or during the course. The application must note if the materials will be distributed in person or electronically.
  4. Speaker Biographies
The brief biography for each faculty member must include: name, title, employer, whether the speaker is an attorney or not, and a one to two-sentence description of how the speaker is qualified to speak on his or her topic.
  5. Speaker Agreement
The WBAI also requires authorization to unconditionally use speakers’ written materials and recorded presentation. The authorization form is available here.
  6. Email Confirmation
Event confirmation is required from WBAI President or CLE Co-Chairs.

Step 3
Fill out the CLE accreditation form.

If there are any questions or issues as you complete these steps, please reach out to Cristin Duffy at wbai.cle@gmail.com.

CLE Certificates
CLE Attendance Certificates will be issued electronically within 30 days of the event.
