Our Health Care Practice Group is seeking to hire a motivated senior-level associate to join our Albany, Chicago, Los Angeles, Jericho, NYC, or Providence office.  This is an excellent opportunity to join Nixon Peabody’s national health care practice, which has been named “Law Firm of the Year” in Health Care Law by U.S. News and World Report. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of health care experience working on mergers and acquisitions and other business transactions for health care companies and organizations, and a broad knowledge of general corporate law to work on matters in the areas of private equity, joint venture and M&A transactions.  Experience with healthcare and/or life sciences transactions is required.

With 80+ attorneys practicing health care law on a full-time basis in California, Illinois, New York, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Washington, DC, Nixon Peabody is at the heart of the health care industry. The firm’s health care practice works with more than 1,500 clients nationwide including hospitals and health systems, academic medical centers, accountable care organizations, long-term care facilities, IPAs and medical groups, and other types of providers.
