Greensfelder, Hemker & Gale, P.C. currently has an opening for an Associate attorney in the Business Services Practice Group to work in our St. Louis or Chicago office. Remote applicants will also be considered. Missouri license required.

Qualified Applicants Will Have:

  • 3+ years of experience negotiating and drafting primary and ancillary documents for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, credit facilities and other corporate transactions.
  • A broad knowledge and deep understanding of general corporate law, as well as transaction and entity structuring and related tax matters.
  • Experience leading M&A due diligence for both targets and acquirers, transaction and entity structuring, and related tax matters.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Excellent analytical/problem solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills with ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environment.
  • Abilities may be evidenced by relevant academic degrees, course work or work experience. CPA, accounting and/or finance background strongly preferred, as are candidates with an aptitude for business development.
