Sarah King is a partner with Clifford Law Offices, P.C. Her litigation work has been highlighted by significant achievements of justice on behalf of injured women and children. Sarah concentrates her practice on investigating, preparing and trying complex medical malpractice, pharmaceutical negligence, product liability and aviation cases to achieve justice for those who have been injured. Sarah earned her undergraduate degree at Loyola University Chicago before obtaining her Juris Doctor from DePaul College of Law where she graduated in the top 5% of her class.
Sarah currently serves as the WBAI second vice president, and was sworn in as a Director of the WBAI in June of 2018. She is currently the co-chair of the Judicial Evaluation Committee. During her time as a WBAI member Sarah has served as a section editor of the WBAI newsletter and on numerous Annual Dinner and Judicial Reception committees.
In addition to her service to the WBAI, Sarah also serves as President of the Board of Directors for Woman Everywhere: Partners in Service Project, a non-for-profit organization comprised of attorneys and judges dedicated to creating opportunities for women through education and community service. Additionally, she is the Chair of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association Women’s Caucus, a group she co-founded in June 2017 to encourage female leadership within the profession and to act as a resource for the mentorship of young female trial attorneys.
Since joining Clifford Law Offices in 2011, the firm has supported Sarah’s dedication to the success of women in the legal profession and encourages her to spend time and firm resources mentoring young attorneys, leading women’s organizations and achieving justice for women and children. In 2017, she was named one of Crain’s Custom Media’s Most Influential Women in Law in Chicago and a 40 under 40 honoree by the Chicago Law Bulletin. Sarah was recently recognized by Chicago Lawyer at its inaugural Salute’ event celebrating influential women in law. In her free time Sarah enjoys running, cycling and spending time with her husband Dan and their two dogs, Max and Bruno.
