Sarah King is trial attorney with Clifford Law Offices, P.C. Sarah represents injured people and their families in personal injury and wrongful death actions. Sarah concentrates her practice on investigating, preparing and trying complex medical malpractice cases to achieve justice for those who have been harmed by medical negligence. Sarah earned her undergraduate degree at Loyola University Chicago before obtaining her Juris Doctor from DePaul College of Law where she graduated in the top 5% of her class.

Sarah was sworn in as a Director of the WBAI in June of 2018. She is currently the co-chair of the Top Women Lawyers in Leadership Committee. During her time as a WBAI member Sarah has served as a section editor of the WBAI newsletter, on numerous Annual Dinner committees, and the Judicial Reception Committee. Sarah is also a mentor in the WBAI L2L mentorship program where she helps guide younger trial attorneys at the start of their careers.

Sarah is dedicated to the development and betterment of women’s lives both inside and outside of the practice of law. She is currently the Vice President of the Board of Directors of Women Everywhere: Partners in Service Project, which is a collaborative effort coordinating volunteer activities to help women and children through Chicago. Additionally, she co-founded the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association (ITLA) Women’s Caucus to encourage female leadership within the profession and to act as a resource for the mentorship of young female trial attorneys. She currently serves as the Caucus co-chair.

In her free time Sarah enjoys spinning at Soul Cycle and spending time with her fiancé Dan and two dogs, Max and Bruno.
