The WBAI WILPower Political Action Committee hosted a fundraiser at Riverside Lounge on May 4, 2023. The special topic was Cocktails and a Conversation about Paid Family and Medical Leave, and a brief update on the status of our efforts in Springfield to pass SB2217 was provided. Attendees were joined by two of our champions on this issue, Senator Cristina Castro and Senator Melinda Bush (Ret.). We would like to thank Molly Condon Wells and her firm, Wallace Miller, for the use of their lounge space for this important event.
