President Whitney K. Siehl was honored by the Cook County Bar Association (CCBA) for her service and support. The CCBA is the oldest bar association of African American attorneys in the country, and just celebrated its 110th anniversary (just like the WBAI!).
At their Installation Dinner, which took place at the Hyatt Regency Chicago, the CCBA presented Whitney with their Presidential Award for the 2023-2024 Bar year. The Presidential award honors individuals who go above and beyond in their service to the Bar. Whitney’s dedication, support and wisdom were instrumental in the Cook County Bar Association having a successful and productive Bar year. CCBA President Raymond D. Rushing mentioned what a good partner Whitney was as fellow bar president and thanked her for including CCBA at events. Speaker Emanuel “Chris” Welch was an honoree and the keynote speaker and enjoyed the evening alongside lawyers, judges and the legislators. Congratulations to Whitney on her outstanding service and commitment to the CCBA!
