On April 3, the WBAI Civil Litigation Committee welcomed members to an engaging in-person CLE panel, “Navigating Through the First Municipal District.” The event was moderated by Hon. Perla Tirado and featured an esteemed panel of judges, including Hon. Corinne Heggie, Hon. Regina Mescall, Hon. Eileen O’Connor, and Hon. Kerrie Maloney Laytin.
The discussion provided valuable insight into courtroom best practices, procedural guidance, and practical tools for attorneys practicing in the First Municipal District. Panelists also shared their unique paths to the bench, offering inspiration and guidance to those interested in judicial service.
Following the CLE, attendees enjoyed a casual networking reception with light appetizers and refreshments. Thank you to our panelists, moderator, and attendees for making the event a success!
