The South Asian Bar Association of Chicago (SABA Chicago) hosted its 2026 Judicial Reception on April 2 at the Arts Club of Chicago, marking a historic moment for the Illinois judiciary and celebrating the achievements of South Asian leaders in the legal profession.
The evening brought together members of the bench, bar, and broader legal community to honor Justice Sanjay T. Tailor, the first Asian Justice of the Illinois Supreme Court. The program also featured the presentation of the inaugural Sanjay T. Tailor Satyagraha Award, recognizing leadership, integrity, and a steadfast commitment to justice.
