On December 16, 2025, the WBAI’s current board, past presidents, and new friends returned to The Dawson for our Annual Holiday Party. Amid laughter, lively conversation, and raised glasses, we paused to reflect on the year coming to an end. After sentiments were shared, our most treasured tradition began: the past presidents shared advice both personal and professional. A central throughline of the words of wisdom was the importance of pausing to celebrate our accomplishments and not simply planning for change.
These past presidents, who are now arbitrators, judges, and seasoned lawyers, emphasized that we are living in a world our grandmothers could never have dreamed. Sometimes before we finish the race, we need to stop for water and stretch. Between all the last-month bustle, the WBAI Holiday Party has turned into a meaningful moment to appreciate our achievements before we dive into the new year.
