Unity, Justice, and Legacy: WBAI Joins Interbar Model Seder at the Illinois Holocaust Museum

By: Tracey L. Schroeder

On April 10, the WBAI was honored to join fellow bar associations and members of the judiciary at the Illinois Holocaust Museum for a deeply meaningful Model Seder hosted by the Decalogue Society of Lawyers and the Jewish Judges Association of Illinois.

The event welcomed the Cook County Bar Association, Illinois Judicial Council, Asian American Bar Association, and the Asian American Judges Association of Illinois to reflect on the themes of Passover and their enduring relevance to the modern pursuit of justice. Together, attendees explored how the holiday’s story of liberation continues to resonate in the legal community’s shared commitment to equity and freedom.

Prior to the Seder, guests were invited to experience the museum’s powerful exhibit, Resilience: A Sense of Legacy, offering an intimate look into the lives and strength of Holocaust survivors and their descendants.

The WBAI was proud to support and participate in this important evening of remembrance, reflection, and cross-community solidarity.
