On November 13, 2023, the WBAI PAC hosted a fundraiser in support of Senator Cristina Casto at the Dearborn Tavern. Senate President Harmon was also in attendance. Senator Castro and Senator Harmon are relentless in their advocacy for women and families in Springfield and have both been integral to the progress we have made toward passing PFMLA. As many of you know, Senator Castro is the current sponsor of our PFMLA bill. We were delighted to show them both our support.
We mixed and mingled with cocktails and enjoyed a lovely dinner with the Senators immediately following. Thank you Senator Castro and President Harmon for your ongoing support!
