United States Attorney’s Office – District of Nevada – Assistant United States Attorney
I work as a federal prosecutor for the United States Department of Justice. I am a criminal trial attorney focusing on white collar and violent crime cases.
Why you are a member of the WBAI?
I have been an active member for more than eight years. As a government attorney, I was able to network and learn from members of the bench and bar as a result of my WBAI leadership involvement. The mission of the WBAI is one that I support wholeheartedly. There is no greater cause for women attorneys than to promote and foster, advance and protect the interests and welfare of women lawyers; to encourage a spirit of friendship and mutual helpfulness among all of us. We have to work together and help each other – every door that has been opened for me, makes me resolute to open more doors for those who come after me. I would not be able to have my dream job today without the support of the women attorneys and judges I have worked with through the WBAI.
What you are most looking forward to in 2017?
I am looking forward to my first winter without snow, ice and subzero wind chills.
Tell us something interesting about you.
I love living in the beautiful state of Nevada. Even being out of Illinois, I find great value in my WBAI membership.
