How to Have Difficult Conversations About Race

By: Newsletter Committee

On October 27, we held a CLE event, How to Have Difficult Conversations About Race with the phenomenal Kwame Christian. Not only is he a best-selling author, but Kwame’s gift for fostering equitable dialogue shone brightly, empowering each of us with the grace and confidence to approach difficult conversations with understanding and mutual respect. Thank you to Kwame for joining us and to our attendees for their participation!

This event was co-hosted by Northern Trust, the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois, the Asian American Bar Association of Greater Chicago, the Black Women Lawyers’ Association of Greater Chicago, Inc., the Chicago Bar Association, the Cook County Bar Association,  HLAI – Serving the Hispanic Lawyers of Illinois, and the Illinois State Bar Association. Thank you to our sponsors, The Toney Law Firm and Tomasik Kotin Kasserman, LLC.
