The Women’s Bar Association of Illinois (WBAI) was proud to sponsor and attend the Diversity Scholarship Foundation’s 2026 Annual Unity Gala on Thursday, January 22. The event brought together members of the bench and bar to celebrate leadership, equity, and ongoing efforts to expand access to justice.
A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Laura Liu Access to Justice Award, which recognizes individuals who demonstrate a strong commitment to fairness, transparency, and removing systemic barriers within the legal system. The WBAI congratulates Hon. Megan Goldish on receiving this distinguished honor and applauds her dedication to public service and access to justice.
The WBAI is honored to support the Diversity Scholarship Foundation and its mission to advance equity and inclusion within the legal profession.
