This year’s Happy Hour in HER Heels event on March 12, 2025 at the Hubbard Inn was a resounding success! This signature event of The Force of Lawyers Against Sexual Harassment (FLASH) was co-hosted by the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois (WBAI) and included the support and partnerships of twenty other bar associations and firms.
This high-heeled fundraising event benefits WINGS— an incredible organization dedicated to ending domestic violence through housing, comprehensive support services, education, and advocacy. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and attendees, we raised $5,000, more than doubling last year’s contributions. Your support is truly making a difference!
The highlight of this event were the men who pledged to wear heels and confidently owned the catwalk. With plenty of dancing, sashaying, striking poses, and soaking up the spotlight, they brought energy and attitude to every step. Four standout participants took home well-deserved prizes for Best Heel, Best Strut, Best Pose, and Most Stylish Heel.
