On Wednesday, March 13, 2024, in honor of International Women’s Month, the WBAI, FLASH Illinois, Decalogue Society Womxn’s Committee, ISBA Standing Committee on Women and the Law, and Lady Lawyers Who Lunch Hosted Happy Hour in Her Heels! The high-heeled happy hour took place at Hubbard Inn, and brought us together with our allies to advocate for an end to sexual harassment and to raise donations for WINGS domestic violence shelter.
It was a VERY entertaining evening of networks, cocktails, appetizers, and friendly competition! We asked men to attend this happy hour, in high-heeled shoes, to raise awareness about sexual violence and harassment, to actively confront gender stereotypes and expectations, and to raise funds for WINGS domestic violence shelter. It was a well-heeled good time!
