This past July, the WBAI’s Sports Law Committee held its very first Annual Putt Putt Golf Outing at the Chicago Park District Diversey Mini Golf and Driving Range. This family friendly event had a wonderful turnout with lawyers, judges, and their families in attendance. This event was followed by an informal golf clinic led by the WBAI’s President, Whitney Siehl, as a warm up for the WBAI Golf Outing.
Fun awards and prizes were given out, including awards for Best Outfit, Most Holes-in-One, Most Honest Score, and Best Team Score. A highlight of the afternoon was a three-way playoff for the Putt Putt Outing Winner. After several playoff rounds, Rafael Vargas ended up taking home the trophy!
Hole games included Beat the WBAI President, where each Putt Putt participant had the chance to putt a better score than Whitney Siehl on Hole 1, and those who were victorious won a sleeve of Titleist golf balls.
