On August 10, 2023, Caidi Vanderporten and Emily Ruwe, WBAI Domestic Relations Committee Co-chairs, hosted a CLE in collaboration with the Lady Lawyers who Lunch. Several Cook County judges joined the panel, which was focused on advanced family law practice. Complicated fact patterns were discussed both as a wider group and in smaller break out rooms, with the intent that participants would leave the session with insight into how the judiciary and colleagues alike tackle difficult issues which arise routinely in family law cases. It was a fruitful and robust exchange!
