The WBAI was honored to attend the Chicago Bar Association’s (CBA’s) Installation of its 2023-2024 Officers and Board of Managers, including President Ray Koenig. The CBA celebrated its 150th year this year and is proud to have prioritized a focus for the past 25 years on identifying diverse leaders, including Ray Koenig, the CBA’s first openly gay President. In his remarks, Koenig spoke about why inclusion in the legal profession is so important, including the emergence of diverse perspectives, access to justice and professional development.
