The WBAI was honored to attend and support the BWLA’s Annual Holiday Party on December 10th. The festive event featured live music, engaging holiday icebreakers with prizes, and a wonderful opportunity to give back to the community.
In the spirit of the season, attendees participated in assembling Blessing Bags, filled with essential items for individuals experiencing homelessness. These thoughtful bags included hats, gloves, scarves, socks, toiletries, and a warming center directory. Guests were encouraged to take a bag to gift to someone in need, while any remaining bags were distributed to a local shelter, extending the impact of the event.
It was a celebration of joy, connection, and purpose—a perfect way to spread holiday cheer while supporting a meaningful cause.
