On February 29th, the WBAI and BottlesUp! Partnered for a book club and wine tasting event. The Book Club discussed the book, “Lady Justice: Women, the Law, and the Battle to Save America” by Dahlia Lithwick. The book “tells the gripping and heroic story of the women lawyers who fought racism, sexism, and xenophobia —and won.”
The group met to share thoughts on the book while snacking on appetizers and sampling wine from woman-owned wine shop BottlesUp!, located in Lakeview.
