The Women’s Bar Association of Illinois was proud to host “Becoming a Lawyer,” an insightful panel exclusively for UIC students and attorneys on February 5.

Aspiring legal professionals gained real-world insight into law school, career paths, and what it truly takes to thrive in the legal profession. The discussion was expertly moderated by Hon. Judge Perla Tirado and featured a stellar panel of attorneys: Leilani Ana-Maria Pino, Caidi Mammas Vanderporten, and Nadeen Elsayed.
Designed for those considering law school or simply curious about the legal profession, the engaging one-hour panel was followed by a lively networking reception, giving attendees the chance to connect, ask questions, and build community.

Thank you to our incredible speakers and to everyone who joined us!
