Treasurer Maria Pappas is sending nearly 30,000 homeowners refunds totaling $8.3 million without requiring an application, according to a news release posted here.
Homeowners may use cookcountytreasurer.com to see if they are receiving an automatic refund. They may also use the website to search for available refunds going back 20 years for which applications are required.”
