The Women’s Bar Association of Illinois was proud to support the Asian American Bar Association of Greater Chicago, the Asian American Judges Association of Illinois, and our fellow Asian American bar associations in honoring former Cook County Chief Judge Timothy Evans and celebrating the appointment of Illinois Supreme Court Justice Sanjay Tailor.
The celebration took place on February 5 at the Union League Club of Chicago. WBAI Directors Hon. Debjani Desai and Hon. Antara Nath Rivera were in attendance—and we are especially proud to share that Hon. Debjani Desai was sworn in as Vice President of the Asian American Judges Association of Illinois and Hon. Antara Nath Rivera was sworn in as Secretary of the Asian American Judges Association of Illinois.
Congratulations to both on these well-deserved leadership roles and thank you for representing the WBAI with distinction!
