Tracey Schroeder

Tracey L. Schroeder is an attorney with Conklin & Conklin, LLC, where she concentrates her practice in eminent domain. She has been appointed a Special Assistant Attorney General, representing the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority and the Illinois Department of Transportation in condemnation matters. Additionally, she practices in the areas of tort, insurance defense, contract disputes, personal injury, property rights, commercial litigation, and government regulation and licensing.

Prior to joining Conklin & Conklin, LLC, Tracey worked as a personal injury attorney, where she also acted as the firm’s Marketing Director. Prior to returning to the practice of law, Tracey worked for many years in marketing, communications and public relations in Chicago, most recently as the head of the communications department for the Chicago Teacher’s Pension Fund.

Tracey is a dedicated member of the WBAI, serving as the Editor in chief of the WBAI Newsletter. Additionally, she serves on the Annual Dinner Committee, Judicial Reception Committee and the Golf Outing Committee.

She earned her undergraduate degrees in English Literature and Psychology from Miami University, her Master of Business Administration from Dominican University, and her Juris Doctor from the John Marshall Law School.
