Hon. Megan Goldish

Judge Megan Goldish sits in the Domestic Violence Court. She is a 2020 recipient of the WBAI Mary Heftel Hooten Award, and a 2021 CBA Vanguard Award recipient, as a representative of the Decalogue Society of Lawyers (Decalogue Society). Judge Goldish is a longtime member of the WBAI, and has chaired various committees, including the Standing Committee on Government Lawyers, the Mentoring Committee, and the Criminal Litigation Committee. She has served on the Nominating Committee, the Annual Dinner Committee, and has presented numerous CLEs on behalf of the WBAI, both as a panelist and as a moderator.

Judge Goldish is the immediate past president of the North Suburban Bar Association, and is the incoming president of the Decalogue Society. She is the co-President of the Chicago Lighthouse for the Blind Junior Board.  She is on the board of the Jewish Judges Association, the Lynn Sage Cancer Foundation, the Abolition Institute, the Women’s Leadership Committee of the Illinois Holocaust Museum, Bright Star Community Outreach, and Trinity Irish Dance Company.  Judge Goldish serves as an adjunct faculty member at her alma mater, Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law. She is also an adjunct faculty member at Chicago-Kent College of Law. 

Judge Goldish is a proud graduate of the Second City Conservatory and regularly performs with the Old Town School of Music’s Theater Ensemble.  She has been in Beginning Guitar for over a decade, and loves playing tennis (badly) and studying languages. She lives in the Chicago Area with her husband Matthew, a Lieutenant Colonel in the Illinois Army National Guard.
