Board of Directors: Vickie Voukidis Blum

Vickie Voukidis Blum, is currently in private practice, specializing in all areas of plaintiff's personal injury law.  An experienced litigator, Vickie has obtained multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements for injured plaintiffs in medical malpractice, railroad-pedestrian, construction and products liability actions in state and federal courts.  In addition to her trial experience, Vickie has written and argued cases in several Illinois Appellate Districts and in the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals in both civil and criminal matters.  Prior to entering solo practice, Vickie was a managing attorney in a small plaintiff's personal injury firm and was primarily responsible for law firm management and associate training and development.

The focus of Vickie's professional and charitable activities is her committment to the mentoring and development of less experienced attorneys and to educating and servicing the legal needs of underserved groups and communities.  Vickie is a member of several professional and charitable organizations, including the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association and the Women's Bar Association where she serves as Director and as a member of WilPower, the political action committee.  She also serves as legal counsel to Hands of Hope, a local not-for-profit charitable organization that helps women and children in crisis in Africa and as a member of the Leader Council of Mercy Home for Boys and Girls.

A graduate of DePaul University College of Law, Vickie was a member of DePaul's Law Review and a Quarterfinalist in its regional Moot Court Competition.

Vickie resides in Barrington with her two teenagers.
